Description
This sound healing meditation will gently (and easily) guide your team into a meditative state which reduces stress levels. This practice is an effective stress management tool to support employees wellbeing and performance.
The sounds from the gong and quartz crystal singing bowls activate the parasympathetic nervous system aka the ‘rest and digest’ state, helping the body to release tension (mental, emotional and physical) reducing stress and improving one's sense of wellbeing.
Benefits include feeling relaxed, restored, centered, grounded, clear minded and improved sleep.
When guests arrive they are invited to take their space either on a chair or on a yoga mat, space dependent. Lauren will welcome and speak to the guests about the benefits of a sound healing before guiding a meditation and beginning the sound journey which lasts for either 30 or 45 minutes depending on your schedule.
FAQ: How does sound healing work in the workplace or for 'away days'?
Answer: We can use a meeting room or open plan space if everyone is participating.
Attendees can be seated (a popular option for the workplace) or lying down (on yoga mats if there's space).
FAQ: Not everyone has experienced sound healing before, does that matter?
Answer: Sound healing is super easy and accessible. It requires no previous experience and Lauren will introduce everyone to the practice and provide guidance through the whole session.
Important information: The recommended contraindications include people with epilepsy, fitted pacemakers or metal plates in the body, or those in the first trimester of pregnancy.
