About the session

Description

Danielle provides a forum for all to learn about hormone cycles and the practical experience of someone with a period. This session is beneficial to either those with or without periods, as it will help individuals with periods to better understand themselves, but also helps anyone to better understand others to whom this applies. This is a great platform to improve collaborative working and improved relationships in the workplace. This is also a great session to start opening the topic of 'Periods in the workplace' as a step towards providing a fully supportive environment for those with periods.   This is a 60 minute virtual session which includes time for questions.
  • corporate wellbeing
  • employee wellbeing initiatives
  • menstruation
  • wellness in companies

Agenda

The key topics are:
  • What is happening to the hormones as well as the brain throughout a monthly cycle
  • How hormone fluctuations and brain changes can present themselves throughout a monthly cycle
  • What is Hormonal Cycle Optimisation and why is it important in the workplace? Could it be a solution to burnout?
  • An understanding of the four phases of the cycle and what to do differently to optimise each of the four phases
  • Suggestions and open discussion for how you can better support those with periods in the workplace to improve collaboration and build better relationships

Practitioners

Danielle Howell

Practitioner

Danielle is a speaker and coach who educates people on the practical experience of having a period and how the inconsistent energy, confidence and productivity resulting from fluctuating hormones, can be used to achieve success (both in and out of the workplace). Her talks provide organisations with a springboard to bring the topic of 'Periods in the Workplace' into open conversation and embed a support model for people with periods. Through individual programmes or group workshops, your organisation can reflect an open and forward-thinking approach to help retain and attract the best people, positively impacting your bottom line.
