Description
Voice training is tailored to the individual. The first (taster) session is a vocal assessment to establish needs and objectives.
Over a series of sessions, clients will build up a life-long vocal toolbox to reliably deliver their valuable message with ease, clarity and impact.
Sessions may involve – but are not limited to:
Exercises to develop gravitas
Manage volume/projection
Improve speech clarity
Build vocal stamina / ease
Explore variety in tone and pace
Clients will leave the session with a clear set of exercises to practice and guidance on how to apply the work in real-life situations.
Define objectives for the session (based on programme and / or presenting vocal habits)
Practical exercises based on that session’s objective
Controlled application of new vocal technique; individual adjustment as necessary
Application of new vocal technique to conversation and/or professional task e.g. presentation

Sonya Ross is a voice coach who helps people reach the full potential of their speaking voice.
Since gaining her MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2006, she has helped thousands of professionals speak with clarity, confidence and impact.
